the kblade tour , youtek prestige mid or any other mid size frames
i've noticed that after novak djokovic left wilson only melene oudin used the blade tour
seems like wilson doesnt have anyone on the mens side sporting it
and as for the prestige mid seems like after safin retired grigor dimitrov switched to wilson blx tour 90

Djokovic supposidly used (may still use with a different paint scheme?) a wilson prototype mold called the “h22” http://communities.canada.com/montrealgazette/blogs/opencourt/archive/2009/01/15/it-s-a-new-year-the-sponsorship-merry-go-round-begins.aspx
which is a softer version of the old “k blade tour” (something similar to the head pt57 series)

I recently had a discussion with a friend who strings/customizes on tour and is privy to player info/ equipment. He gave me some insight on the h22. Many players that play head frames find the ground strokes sweet but because of soft layup they hate the feel for serves/volleys.

The idea behind the h22 is that it offers a variety of semi flex for strokes and super feel for serve/net play… the answer is in the mold/secret composition… “very sweet, very hard to come by” says my friend. I've read/heard alot about head prostock so this makes me curious about other companies like wilson.

I’ll write a review, after I play test in a few weeks hopefully. I'll post in the “racquets” section on the boards. More to come hopefully!

^^ Gulbis is using a Prestige Midplus, the PT57A mold I think*.
Also I'm pretty sure Djokovic's KBlade was a 98, even though it was said he used the 93 Tour model.

Djokovic's old Wilson was a copy of the playing characteristics of his old Radical MP (630cm2).
"I tried to play with 15-20 different models of Wilson and no one is conform to me. Then they made a copy of my Head racquet, and he is absolutely the same."

Djokovic's current racquet is out of the Radical MP (630cm2) Mold.

Gulbis had been using PT57E which is a Midplus (630cm2) frame

Maybe in a few years we will be seeing more players with the K blade tour and the youtek prestige mid, because the current pros are using what they used 10 years ago, and today's youngsters will be using what they are using today in 10 years. But if you are talking about MID frames in general, I think they are disappearing. People seem to go 98-100 sq. in. nowadays, because there are less big servers and aggressive players. Dimitrov uses a mid but his play seems to be more old-fashioned (and better)!
