I was contacted by family of W.T. "Dub" Robinson who claimed that there was a racket also named after Dub ? He was the longtime coach at LSU and the tennis stadium there is also named in his honor. Anybody know any more information on such a racket ?

South Carolina alum here...never heard of the 'Dub'. Wonder if it came in a 'sing' model, as well? :)

It is surprising to see some of the old rackets that were dedicated other famous sports stars, like basketball players (John Havlichek) and baseball players (Ty Cobb). Some of the tennis players were not even such well known players. Not sure how the Dub name originated, maybe was a greats Dubs player ?
