I believe the HEAD YOUTEK Radical line-up always looks great on TV or in photos for that matter. The racquet looks particularly thin with the white line going through top arch of the racquet. What are your thoughts? I am just amazed everytime players such as Cilic, Tomic, etc. come onto the court with these amazing racquets.

I agree this is a great looking frame. Cilic frame is fitted with a black grommet set but Tomic does use the stock-white grommets. Just a small detail but I prefer the black grommets as they are a smooth contrast to the loud youtek radical colors.

I agree with the OP- I think the Youtek Radical is a great looking frame on TV. I love the way it looks with the black grommets though vs the white ones.

Most likely because they are both using different models with the same paint job.

And the best looking of all is Murray's. The CAP makes it looks sooo nice

Good looking frame...I think the I.Radical was one of the best PJ's of all Head rackets.

Yeah, all the Youteks look good, but for me the most striking of the bunch is the YT Extreme.

Deffo better with the CAPS (although to be fair, Murray's Radical isn't a radical.)

My PT167A looks half decent (still prefer less logos and nonsense text on my frames, like a Vantage. I don't know why anyone would want jargon like 'power in control' or whatever written on their racquet.)

My PT167A (which I CAP'd.)

^^^You can only do it with Head frames of certain types. It's just a matter of swapping the grommets.

i have a microgel radical so will it just fit perfectly?

Shame the LM Rad looks so crap. Ruined the line really.

sry for being annoying but i'm very interested in the CAPS, should i buy the grommets from the microgel prestige mp? Do they insert perfectly into the holes?

You should be able to CAP one of those, there is a big thread about it somewhere where some players/techs who know much more about it than me discuss how to do it.

Presumably you'd need Microgel Prestige CAP grommets of the same headsize and they should fit ok although it took me a while to get them to seat properly, I put them in and then taped the ends down and left them for a few hours, then strung the frame and that pushed them in properly, they are molded to shape now (some people use a hairdryer to make the grommets softer etc and I think some Head frames are easier than others to CAP, it's all in that thread.)

I'm not fond of the FXP PJ either really, those white details are not needed. The YouTek PJ on Murray's is better imo.

Oh and don't forget you'll add about 15g to the hoop (I think that's about the weight, might say in that thread somewhere.)

The frame will be more headheavy than stock, should balance it with weight in the handle/under the grip.

The YT Prestige is the best looking racquet on TV and on Tour.

The YT Prestige is a great looking frame- one of the best IMO. But it doesn't stand out on TV to me. The red is almost muted by the CAP grommets where as the Orange of the TY Radical really sticks out and and is easy to see on a screen. In person- the YT Prestige is better looking by a mile.

I think that the MG Prestige was the best looking one on TV.
Easy to identify and still had some boldness.

I'd vote for the red and yellow Volkl Petr Korda used to use before the c10 comp and c10 pro graphics.

Tied for first: Blake's blue Dunlops. Nice blue. Smooth-looking stick.

Honorable mention to the yellow and black HEAD Agassi played with in the 90s - the first Radical.

I also like the current Babolat Rafa uses and the red Storm Gt line.

Oh, and just for tv, the white Prince Rafter used for a while.

I disagree with OP, i think the new Radicals look like they're unfinished, like somethings missing?
I think the Flexpoints were the best looking sticks Head have had in recent times.

I got a chance to see the new radicals and extremes on a shop today, my God those things are "loud" the Radicals are like warning cones and the extremes are like "caution" tape, did not like them to much, I preffer the LM Radical.
