I got scared when I read some stuff from people stating the injury could sideline him awhile. Anyone know what it is or if its anything serious at all? The article in yahoo just blew it off like it wasn't a big deal. I think he's well deserving of some time off and this might've just been a good way to get it.... and dont get offended, I think Fed is the coolest, but, injuries = vacation time for tennis players and you know it. Plus dont you get fined a lot for being top ranked and just skipping tourneys...unless you're injured. I'm sure he cant be the only one that does this either.

His movement looked fine to me in his last match with Gasquet...

I think also that this is a smart move by Fed since he's not going out there week after week exposing his tactics to the clay court specialists he's bound to encounter in RG. He's not the best on clay so why have those specialists figure out how to dismantle him before it even gets close to the slam that he's yet to win.
