Last time I visited China, Li Ning had some nice apparels, a lot better than what Ljubicic was wearing. Bad fashion sense?

They have a Li Ning store in Hong Kong, but it's not a huge success. The quality in general is a little lower than the Nike/Adidas pro line. But I know they are much cheaper in China.

I think over time they will increase their quality as people in china are making more money.

Li Ning can be found easily in Singapore and it is very expensive - cost around 30% more than nike and adidas

Their stuff looks horrible. Plus, they totally ripped off the Brooks Running emblem.

No, they look nothing alike. if anything LINING was meant to imitate the Nike swoosh.

Yeah, I've read about the whole imitation of Nike's symbol and Adidas' slogan. But with the exception of the trailing curve at the end of the Li Ning symbol, it's a mirror image of Brooks older logo and very similar to the current one. A running buddy of mine was watching the IW final with me and thought Brooks was getting into tennis after seeing the logo on Lubi's shirt. Whatever it looks like, they can't make a decent looking shoe or outfit.

Do you really think these two logos remotely resemble each other?

The LiNing logo is an artistic form of the letter L, initial of the founder Li Ning's last name.

Their price is in the same range as Nike/Adidas. I've bought some Lining pants and they're very well made.

Didn't I just say so? If you've seen Brooks shoes and Li Ning shoes, you'll see the similarity, IMHO. Here's a pic of the classic Brooks logo before it was spruced up last year.

Like I said, take off the curvy "tail" and it's a mirror image.
I don't think any of the major shoes companies are too worried about Li Ning. Their stuff has a 'Wal-Mart' look of cheesiness/cheapness. Just look at these beauties! :(
