I string my BLX 6.1 tour at 55 pounds with BB revenge 17 on mains and X-1 16 on crosses

How does the 60lbs feel? I have never strung above 55lbs on my k90 with any type of string.

I don't wield the BLX Tour but I use the K90. I string mines at 48/52. My next string job, I intend to go slightly lower.

a client of mine just got the rackets and he had me string up his racket to 64 lbs. one with lux m2, and the other blx with alu rough.

both full bed. he has strung it up a couple times the same way so i believe hes happy with it.

good luck

People that cry about ALU being strung at 60 are clueless.

I string it at 60 lbs but I don't use poly in this racquet, its one of the only racquets I don't use poly in.

I had a guy request alu rough at 70 in his n90... I thought he was nuts! He was back a couple weeks later asking for 45.... Talk about extremes!

I totally agree here. I string up my hybrids at 58 poly mains / 61 ish soft crosses. I strung up M2 Pro (full) at 58. Felt fantastic. Next time I'll go a tad higher.

It really depends on the stick (it seems). The heavier, more open a frame is (like the BLX 90 for me compared to others), the higher you can tension it. Weight and plow are the biggest factors IMO.

Try 30lbs like Chris at TW.
