View Full Version : Knot Sitting on String

I was stringing a Wilson 6.6 PS titanium 95 and as I was finishing the 2-piece, at my final tie off (towards the bottom), the adjacent main grommet was so close that the only way to tie off was such that the knot sat on top of the string (final main). I guess the main could be pushed off to the side so it doesn't actually sit on top of the knot, but is this normal?

I hate this but have been forced to do it a few times.

I don't think it will make too much difference but I avoid it at all costs.

Next time you are in a tight space to tie a knot, try the PC knot, as it holds well, and takes less space. Below is a link to a video of this. It comes in handy at times.
