Uh, I know you watch tennis and stuff... so, what the heck?

Most of these matches make no sense whatsoever.

Which ones do you disagree with and who do you say?

Most of these are good, I take issue only with 2... Davy:Rusty- Nah, not really. Hewitt is very defensive, Davy very offensive
Gonzo-Gasquet- This was my WTF one.... Gonzo has great FH, no BH; Gasquet has great BH, no FH- to me they seem polar opposites

Gonzo has no BH OMG you can not be serious. Anyways there both flair players with bundles of talent. Davy and Hewitt both have good legs, endurance, not the best serves and do take it on the rise.

Okay, when it's on it's great, but it's on about a sixth of the time.... and I am a huge Gonzo fan

I don't get Gonzalez- Korolev, I see Korolev as more of a hardcourt specialist and he it the polar opposite to Gonzos flair for me he is more of a power player, grinder. Koro also has a two handed BH.

Also don't get Simon/Nadal. Simon a hardcourt specialist with questionable desire at times one thing you cant accuse Rafa of.

Federer - Dancevic
Djokovic - Grosjean
Murray - Less Agressive version of Hewitt
Nadal - Lefty Monaco
Del Potro - Flat-hitting version of Kuerten (both have big long swings and a ton of pace on groundtrokes and serve)
Davydenko - Baghdatis/Nalbandian
Soderling - Andreev
Roddick - Most similar in my opinion is Monfils, but he's ranked 16th, not really "low ranked". A lower ranked player with a similar game to Roddick is hard to find, but maybe Benjamin Becker?
Cilic - Ancic
Tsonga - Berdych
Gonzalez - Blake
Verdasco - Lopez

Ooh didn't think of Becker. Any player not Top 12 will do.

Federer - Henin
Djokovic - Overrated
Murray - Safina
Nadal - Brazilian buttock reduction
Del Potro - Monkey magic
Davydenko - Bold Comedian
Soderling - Devil
Roddick - Pusher
Cilic - Sounds like Federer
Tsonga - The man
Gonzalez - Bring him to a bar fight
Verdasco - Kool~

The only one that's obvious is Verdasco ~ Melzer.

And not Top12 but Cilic resembles Federer in his ground game.

Very good analysis on some of your picks.

I guess the OP is asking something like if Kiefer was the poor man's Agassi and make other such comparisons with the current top 10.

Federer- Delic (smooth flowing strokes and movement, and they look similar)
Djokovic- Gulbis (solid off both wings, huge BHs)
Murray- Stepanek (spins, droppers, all court games, love to play cat n mouse)
Nadal- Odesnik (heavy topspin lefty forehands)
Delpo- Pim Pim (huge serves, huge power, excellent ball strikers and shot makers)
Davydenko-Schuettler (solid all court grinders)
Soderling- Berdych (big guys with huge baseline games and talent)
Roddick- Monfils (similar service motions, alot of defending and countering, both possess a lot of power but dont always use it)
Cilic- Ancic (IDK, sounds good to me)
Tsonga- Blake (go big or go home mentality, huge power, streakiness)
Gonzalez- Also Blake (relies on huge FH, decent first serve, decent OHBH)
Verdasco- F Lopez ( Big serves, big lefty FHs, one just a little more consistent than the other)
