pros using cheap strings?

Back in '92, Courier used cheap Wilson Synthetic Gut in his ProStaff 6.0s, strung high. Don't know when he switched to something else later on.

It combines two of the best strings that money can buy, (VS gut aside). It's actually Rip-control and Iso Speed Professional. Not cheap, but a fantastic combination.
