What is the strangest setup of strings you've ever seen or heard of or strung up for someone and yourself?

I haven't used anything outrageous myself. My brother's old coach used to string a multi main and kevlar cross at 68lbs.

That sorta makes sense. Insted of using full ALU, using a cross string very similar to it...

Premier LT 17 mains, Price 3D 16 crosses. Yes I actually had a customer request this. After I tried to talk him out of it.

Zero benefit with the 3D in the crosses...might as well use a less expensive co-poly.

I was thinking of using a hybrid of various guitar strings in my stick so that every shot rang out a power chord of tennis awesomeness... Ok probably not, but im bored.

Although if this whole low tension thing works out, I might try kevlar mains with poly crosses around 20lbs, again, due to boredom, but that may actually work out...

I have a customer that does this very setup and loves it (different racquet, though).

I once had a Yamaha EX-110G strung with Klip Armour Pro mains and Gamma Zo something or other poly(the red one). It looked great and played like a board at 60lbs. I Cut it out.
