so i'm getting bit obsessive about strings because it makes difference in my play. I'm also getting bit into nadals gear because I am a counterpuncher with lot of spin (of course no way near as good) and thought i should try out his strings.. but many on this board said he uses duralast... but looking at tw where hurricane pro tour it says this

"Nadal uses this string for the entire stringbed, whereas Roddick uses the this as a hybrid with Babolat VS Gut in the cross strings. "

so whats the consensus? i guess he used both?

its a little thing called marketing. it also says that nadal uses the aeropro drive gt but of course its a paintjob and he uses the aeropro drive with no cortex that hasnt been made since 05. roddick is the same way hasnt changed sticks since 02. its all marketing dude rafa uses duralast that has been dyed black

There has been a big debate whether he uses, RPM Blast, Pro Hurricanes or "painted" Duralast strings.
