I was actually wondering the same thing. Doesn't seem too popular with pros. Then again, you can't really do a pj of the o ports.

If it had an open string pattern than I would consider that last statement.

How does it compare to the Prestige MP?

If you wanted a Rebel with an open string pattern, why not consider the Ignite?

Look at the prince exo3 ignite. it has a 16x18 pattern and keeps most of the weight.

The Reb is a great racket I agree. It's got a lot of effortless power but it comes in a very solid, low powered, control-orientated form - which means you really need to get the frame in motion to get that effortless power... big on serve... big on the 2hbh side... i just clicked with frame, especially after going to soft poly @ low tension (50lbs) and adding lead (@ 12). If it was open-pattern, I might still be playing it.

BTW... the OP/others do of course realise Gael doesn't play the Reb the public buys?... his is a special custom job Reb based on the specs of his old PC600.

the ignites beam is too thick and it has too much power. ive played with it and it just isnt as good as rebel.NOTHING IS
