I was too young to watch tennis at this age, but it looked like it was a good tournament

Maybe in America, but I'm sure worldwide it's been expanding, your always hearing the tournaments saying that they are breaking records for number of people attending almost every year at numerous tournaments.

Basically shows how tennis is so boring these days, no variety in personalities nor game styles.

remember when tennis channel used to do this for old masters events? they'd summarize the tournament in an hour..I think they did it for the French Open also.

Since all their careers are done, it looked like an amazing tournament, and yeah I think I've seen like 10 minutes of some of those on tennis channel, but I think this one is better and more dramatic, wish they made more of these for the big tournaments, even if it's just like the Wimbledon one for Ivanisevic showing his dream run.

I like Ivan Lendl line in the video about Edberg which was a saracastic attack at Connors!

The 92 US Open was a great tournament. I was at the Lendl-Connors 2nd round match that year. Really unforgettable.
There were a lot of great matches that year. Edberg won 3 5 setters coming back from a break down in the 5th each time (against Krajicek, Lendl and Change) just to reach the final and beat Sampras.

This was one of the last tournaments I watched for awhile. Kind of an end of an era with mac and connors winding it down. Edberg and Becker also kind of went downhill from here. It just got very boring for the next 10 years and the game is still not as interesting as it was back then with so many styles and personalities.

I didn't know volley battles lasted that long in pro tennis!

Yeah that was the most amazing part of the tournament, Edberg coming back in 5th sets down a break 3 times in a row!

It's better with Lendl's sarcastic comeback after his match with Edberg, lol

Watched them all. Thanks for the ul.

Connors lost to lendl 18 times in a row, maybe lendl was bored beating him the same way everytime :)
