Picked up one of these on e-bay last week and was looking at the mold.....it looks similar to the Iprestige and not really like the 630.
Frame is incredibly sweet.
What's the Italian guy's name who plays the pt57e? I believe he's been injured for a couple years now, but he was climbing up the ranking back in early 2008.....

Are these indeed out of the I-prestige mold, for those of you in the know?

thanks,

In 2007/8 Volandri played with the TGK238.1. I had two of his sticks...
Yes, the pt57E is a very rare and sweet stick. It is the iPrestige MP mold.

It could be Simone Bolelli.

its probably between volandri, bolelli, and paolo lorenzi. theyre the only top ranked italians who are using prestiges who could be using derivatives of the prestige line.....

so the i.prestige is the same as the pt57e?

crazy to think that a $120 retail racquet is now hyped up and in the $350+ status.

I have two i.Prestige MP frames that I really love, but the YT Prestige is growing on me.

the pt57e is a pro stock, the i.prestige is for consumer, different rackets and value

The 57E is definitely worth the money. Where can you find me a new iPrestige for $120?

I agree. Especially when you mentioned the "status" part. How many of these racquets are going to start showing up on TW sell/trade area? Also how many are going to be fakes? Will they actually make you play any better? I doubt it will for the majority of people here.

RacquetCraft,

Do you know the history of the PT57E? I've seen pictures of the PT57E on a LiquidMetal Paintjob. Did it exist before that? Were there PT57E's in Intelligence paintjobs or anything earlier?

What is it about the PT57E that you like?

I keep hearing that the PT57E is a bit stiffer. Did you ever have any issues with tennis elbow with the PT57E?

What are your favorite string combinations for the PT57E?

Sorry for the all the questions? I've seen some PT57E's for sale lately and its starting to interest me.

Thanks!
