I am interested in the RDX 500 and would like your opinion on the racket and any compare/contrast on the Diablo.

Diablo MP is a much more solid, forgiving, and versatile racket. RDX 500 (16X19) has fancy race car cosmatics but it plays like an old Yonex frame from the 80s. Personally, I think Ti-80 was a bit more solid.

Please don't speak of the Ti-80 in the past tense . . . .

I tested the RDX500MP and the Prince Diablo MP. The RDX 500 has more power and I was able to produce more spin then the Diablo. The RDX was more comfortable for me. The grip on the Prince felt like a square and was not comfortable to hold. The Diablo felt heavier and in turn felt more solid. With the RDX my ground strokes were not as controlled as the Diablo.

Compared to the Yonex Ti-80, which I have been playing with for the past year, I would say that the two racquets share some of of it's traits. The Princes power and the RDX's spin. The Ti-80 to me is a better all around stick.

In the final analysis I chose neither. I went back to my TI-80 and added a little weight at 12, 3 and 9. My Ti-80's never felt better.

I've been playing with Ti-80 for about a year. Currently I've been testing many players racquets, but always returned to Ti-80.

Could you tell how much weight did you put at 12-3 and 9 ? and why ?

I added the weight on advice I got from a pro on the challenger tour. He was using the Ti-80 and wanted a little more stability, so he suggested adding 3 grams of lead tape at 12, 3, and 9. So far I like it. It did not make the racquet to heavy and he said it would be around 4 pts headlight instead of the 8 pts it comes standard. Hope that helps.
