My wall of shame is still alive. It's a shame that they don't make these beauties anymore but I zealously guard them (buying a gun safe soon) and, of course, play with them :)

Since I'm in TX, it's TX Pro :)

Coincidentally, it is TXP and Prestige Pro with Nat Gut. PS85 moves to a 2nd place since doesn't give me enough baseline power anymore.

Pics of the rest of the other wall would be cool, if you can add that.

It looks like you have a first production Graphite Edge. Very impressive.

Quite a display. I can only hang ~50 rackets on the wall without incurring the wrath of the resident 'interior designer' :) .

I've managed to hang on to a first edition Graphite Edge, Prince Graphite and Sting Largehead. Hard to believe those were introduced three decades ago! I must be getting old :) .

Hmmm, I had no idea it was first production. This one is actually F/S as well as TX Edge.

Nope, further to the right are the windows and closets with other 50+ less impressive specimens. That little "Prestiges" corner always faced the door, so I can see my "precious" ones. :)

I think that's the one you're talking about - wish I had one... Guy Forget used it for awhile... one of Plasma's favorite sticks...

Sorry, this is just my players racquets collection. I gave up 'collecting". I'm just hoarding my favorite racquets, the living fossils, in fear of them getting extinct.

Pretty sure you are still collecting, from what you just said:-?

(Sounds like you aren't just accumulating, but have a very focused collection going there)

No really, everything you see is everything I play well with. Love the feel and maneuverability of PS85 and PC1, the power and control of TXP, PP and PC600 and flex and sound of my Lacoste guitars. That's pretty much it. Once in a while I like to swing the 90-95 sq inch classics like PS6.1 95, Classic 95 or PT280 but they are no competition to my beloved mids.

I honestly can't play well with woodies and metals frames and the wierd ones like Snawaert Ergonom or MacGregor Bergelin. So these and many others are up for grabs (some sticks off my wall will go soon to free space for more Prestiges). :)

A great Caddyshack type line after looking at that sweet-*** collection would be:

Guest: "Wow! Impressive! So what is your main stick?"
TennisMan: "Oh, I don't play tennis."

Are you implying something? Then make your point. I do play tennis and maybe much better than you (especially if you are still swinging your ROK). :)

^^ I wasn't trying to imply that you didn't play. Just a random scenario.
And no I don't swing that crappy Rok anymore lol touche.
I have lots of racquets (not as many as you lol) and was in love with the Rok for like 2 days. Its a POS.
Now I'm swinging an Aerogel 4d 200 (modern) and a Yonex R-7 and PK Black Ace (Vintage)

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Wow, Aerogel 4d 200 and vintage PK Black Ace? There is a big difference between the two. I appreciate that you like the classic racquets. If I was to suggest something in between, try the Pro Staff 95. It's a sweet frame.

I'm actually thinking about selling the Dunlop and reverting back to my ProKennex 5g with a leaded up hoop for my main stick. It's just that the 5g always played like an OS for me, I don't know if it's a mental issue or what...so lately I'm flirting with putting in an extensive amount of lead in the R-7 to make it way more HL...it'll have to do until I find an R-10...which are hard to find.

Eventually I see myself using just the R-10 and the BA with possibly some assorted moderns like the 5g and the k90. I'm a racquet lover too as much as a tennis lover, so I need to start customizing my racquets more for more consistency on the court. There's nothing like hitting serves with a 14 oz. racquet one day and an 11.8 oz. racquet the next day. UGGGH!

Yesterday I played a match with my Head Composite Edge (I prefer the PK Copper Ace) and did quite well. I must have thin beams or I feel like wanting to smash the racquet on the court (like I did with my Yamaha Secret...SUCH a great frame but way too stiff and wide...it's a shame really, they almost made the perfect racquet).
Today, I think I'll go with the customized R-7 because I can stick volleys with this racquet nicely. When I'm more serious about my tennis, if I ever will be (wins/losses), then I'll revert to having 3 of the same racquets like I did in college...but now its just as fun test-driving racquets as it is playing the tennis itself.
