View Full Version : Dunlop AG200 cross tension

My stringbed feels very, very comfortable with Pro Red Code / Multifeel @ 55/58. I think, more comfortable than a poly hybrid should. Last night I noticed the multifilament structure on the sides of the hoop, and remembered that it softens the feel of the racquet.

Does this mean that I need to string the crosses tighter, or cross w/ a stiffer string? Or will a full poly job automatically work more like a hybrid? Can anyone tell me more info on this racquet?

I got the answer from the vendor who sold me the racquet. The M-fil structure of Dunlop racquets does soften the stringbed's response. They said my poly/multi tesion differential of 3 lbs. is correct, but they suggested that I try Luxilon or Pro Hurricane strings if I want a stiffer feel. I think that would be going overboard for me. I have a set of Cyber Blue that I'm going to try. If that isn't it, I'll try Cyber Flash in either a full bed or hybrid.

I'm glad I have such a comfy racquet!
