Nadal is using a black string. A lot of people say itīs RPM Blast, but some say is another called Power or B-432C.

What you know about it?

What that man that bought Nadalīs racket in Australian Open said?

It is the same duralast painted black. He tried new strings in the exho at Abu Dhabi and even Doha, but I guess he reverted back. Top pros don't change strings just like that.
Just compare the power he had at the beginning of the year.

In another thread Greg Raven said that he saw Nadalīs racket and he really changed the string but he wasnīt sure about what he was using

It's just gone over and over. Basically no one has any evidence. I would go with the most likely scenario of Nadal painting his strings to match the new offering from Babolat. That's pretty logical, and that's how we should judge him from past history.

That said, I'm sure he did try the new strings at some exhos. He was getting major power and depth on his ball in Abu Dhabi and Doha. How do you suppose he bageled Davydenko?

Then in AO, he was again flat, but he had more control, so he probably switched to the tried and tested old strings.

More than a few former players who do commentary said he changed to get more pop - and considering how he got blasted off the court by quite a few guys at the end of last year AND it's obvious he's trying to end points quicker this year - that makes sense.

Hes not using Duralast for the last time!! People who have seen the string says its octagonal, and Duralast is not. However from what it seems hes not using RPM blast either, probably something that isnt for sale yet....
