Check this out: Wow, would you use these racquets? (http://cms.neoxxline.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=34&Itemid=78) I know a lot of people want to play with Marat Safin's Head Prestige Classics, but do people want to play with a frame that looks like his Head PC after he takes out his anger on it?

you never know, maybe that will be the next advancement in racquet tech. 15 years from now you might be bragging about eh new pair of x45's you just bought.

What the hell is that??? Looks like it's been thrown on the ground a few times.

Yep, that's why I made the Safin crack.

Personally, I feel like if I took my normal stroke with that racquet, I might miss the ball because the head isn't where it should be--it's bent around somewhere else!

That racquet is supposed to be very arm friendly. I read that it has been designed specially for people who suffer from tennis elbow.

I guess this makes sense. If you entirely miss the ball, there's no shock-impact.

Haha, that was a pretty good one Rich. Anyways, yeah, the frames sure are weird... Maybe it's more aerodynamic!

looks like it's designed for all those crazy hawaiian grip users. i guess low slices won't work anymore against them! ;)

Ergonom, Part Deux

Different than the Ergonom (x-45 are more like Ergonom). I'd love to try one though, just to satisfy my curiousity.

it was made like that so when you hit it on one side it'll bend back in shape

Save yourselves some money and take an old, non arm-friendly racquet and place it in the oven on broil for 20 minutes. Let cool another 20 and pow - it's "arm-friendly".
(Some restringing my be required...assuming the grommets still are useable...and the racquet doesn't collapse or catch fire.)
