Whether they made you cry, cringe, scream, hope it ended differently but was part of the reason why the movie is a classic.

For me one moment is when Apollo Creed died in Rocky IV. OMG I have watched that movie since I was a little girl and still every time I see that movie (like now) I just can't get over Appollo's creed death. It was so harsh.

Another one I can think of right now is the film Toy Soldiers (1991). A terrorist group holds a boarding school hostage and a group of friends decided to fight back using tactics throughout the film. But the heartbreaking moment is when one of the friends is allowed to be released because he is the son of a Mafia boss. He doesn't want to go but as he's being escorted out he grabs the gun of one of his captors but fails miserably at trying to kill them and he's the one that ends up being killed...OMG heartbreaking! Get's me every time.

Found the scene- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4cDmWHV0A8

EVERY scene out of this film is horrendous..I actually watched this whole film few years ago, you can't get any worse movie then this.

You must watch ending scene to believe it. (it's not fully shown in this vid)

The never ending goodbye scene in Armageddon. Seriously, could they have dragged that on any longer?

The song and dance numbers in Hope Floats and 28 Dresses. Are they under the gun to stretch the movie out and need a time filler? Very cringeworthy.

Scrat letting go of the nut in Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Come on Scrat....FOCUS!!

The entire concepy of Basic Instinct 2 and The Lost Boys 2 - where to even begin?

what was some of your worst movie moments?

Worst moments is a tough one to answer, because it could be worst because it's emotionally powerful and leaves you an emotional wreck, or it could just be so rubbish that you wished someone had invented mind bleach.

I hated Tom Cruise's character dying at the end of Collateral. Not only was he too cool to die, but the idea that a trained assassin gets killed by a taxi driver is laughable. I swear that if they'd have ended that movie with Cruise finishing the contract of flying off into the distance then he'd have got an Oscar nomination.

I remember as a kid being gutted at the end of Von Ryan's Express (won't give the ending away for anyone who hasn't seen it).

TV not film, but the last scene of Twin Peaks had me shouting nooooooooo at the screen. So brilliant but so devastating.

Had the same ones in mind. iirc, some scenes in Saving Private Ryan when the mother gets a telegram about her sons.

Perhaps, Castaway when Hanks comes back and finds his fiance...

Looking back further, most of the holocaust movies, Sophie's Choice -- at the station, It's a beautiful Life -- towards the end, the shooting.

More recently, those animation movies : Barefoot Gen and The graveyard of fireflies.

At first, I hated the death of Apollo Creed, but I get it now.

One movie that made me sad was the Land Before Time. When the dinosaurs lose their parents so early, and he kept hope of finding them. Makes me feel bad for the dinosaurs.

yes definitely the scene where she has to choose is one of the best acted and most heartbreaking scenes I have ever seen.(still nothing tops LionKing for me,oh the psychological trauma!!).
Others:
In La Strada when he abandons her alone and half crazy.
Battleship Potemkin the stair scene.
