Hi
I am 14 and live in michigan and i am trying to trade racquets with a 19 year old who lives in Texas

i am trying to sell 3 month old http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/viewlarge.html?PCODE=BPCZ

and he will sell me a 9 month old http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/viewlarge.html?PCODE=BPDP

is this a fair trade?
What are some recommendations that you have for making this trade safe and solid?
Any other recommendations

I would say its fair considering the price difference, as long as the condition of the racquets isnt an issue. As for recommendations, I really dont have any idea what you can do to make sure both get your racquets that wont cost you more $$. maybe someone else can help you with that.

You should trade by the condition of the rackets. How old the racket is dosen't really tell you the condition of the racket. Someone can have the racket just one day and the idiot may have already dropped and damaged the frame.
You should trade pics of the rackets you are trading with and trading for before you commit to the trade. You may just be the person getting the short end of the stick......yes the sucker.

It not so much the age of the racket but the condition of each rackets. You guys seemed to have crisp and open communitcation with one another which is key in any transaction. You just have to remember these are used rackets. THEY ARE NOT NEW. If you play serious tennis and don't abuse the rackets (ie throw on the ground store it in your car), then each party should expect some very minor scapes and chips on the rackets.

Quick question to arodnadal. Why did you change the grommets? Do you have a swing that cause the racket to hit the ground? Alot?
