Hi,

I played with my friends's

wilson prostaff classic 6.1

but it had dense string pattern 18x20,with a pretty heavy feeling.

groundies on this stick was simply awesome, awesome...

best pocketing feeling ever, with decent pace and spin.

I had a little bit of problem generating fast swings on my serves,

but great groundie potentials was fascinating enough to cover that.

I'm curruntly using Volkl Tour10 mid

and often hit with my other stick, Donlop 200g.

Is there anyway that I can buy this18x20 PSC 6.1

or could you recommend a similar feeling stick for me?

thanks

Your friend had the stretch version (+ 1"!) of the PS Classic because they never made an 18x20 std version for the US. You can still find the discontinued HPS 6.1 MP Stretch (+ 1/2") with the 18x20 pattern on ****.

Some of those 6.1 standard length 18x20s pop up on **** now and then. Seems some jrs and college players had them.

I could be wrong, but i was under the impression that the hps 6.1 in europe and south america also has an 18x20 pattern. For those of you who do not live in the US, does your hyper 6.1's have an 18x20 pattern?

yeah, european 6.1's had the 18x20 pattern. they can be found on **** now and then, and i think someone on the boards had some for sale not too long ago.

Hi - I have a couple Pro Staff Classic sticks in L4. Yes, "Tour" versions of the normal/Hyper Classic were available in Europe with 18x20 patterns. For the Classic, that also means it has a nice Fairway leather grip. Send me an e-mail if you're interested and I have some pictures I could send you.

Thanks a lot guys.

the stick was regular size(not a long body) and I guess

I heard my friend's father got that racquet from a touring pro at some hotel.

So, may be it is a European version of PSC 6.1 then...

Do you guys think Tour 90 or PS6.0 will give me the similar feeling??

By the way, PrestigeClassic, Thanks for the offer.

But I have a such a baby hand and L4 is usually too big for me.

( I have couple of racqet throwing accident serving, in last a few years using L4's...)

i have a couple (maybe more) of the 18x20 PS Classic's 6.1 Standard length also. Mine are from Europe and have Fairway Leather grip on them. shoot me an e-mail too if you're interested. They definitely play very different from the regular 16x18 PS's.

You can always pick up a HPS 6.1 Stretch, and cut it down 1/2 inch, and counter balance it by weighting the butt cap to keep the same balance point. Probably the next best thing.

I have a couple of the PSC 6.1s that are standard length and are 18x20. They are even all black. They were basically the "experimental" version, so to speak. I got them while in Europe from a Wilson rep a few years back. Let me know if you are interested.
