Anybody know anything about these Lacoste racquets? When were they made? Are they still being made? I searched Google for others and came up with nothing.

Early 90s and late 80s. I remember seeing one that was left in a hot car and the graphite in the throat piece was warped.

Bora, are you sure that wasn't the LT 302, with dents in the top and bottom of the head as well as the sides? ;)

Kudos to Jason (the seller); he's hooked into a mini-cult following for this weird-looking player's mid and is milking it for all it's worth.

I agree with Bora's timetable for the frame. Forget used the Donnay Pro Cynetic 1, as did many male pros, around 1986-1987. This Lacoste would've necessarily followed. The design logic is a clear-cut take on Rossignol's idea of string length-equalization on either side of the sweetspot, except Rossignol would adjust at 12 and 6, and this Lacoste goes the 3 and 9 route. Agree that it's a nifty looking frame, very spartan graphics, but not too weird (see: Ergonom) because it was actually used in competition.

Nope this was no dent, this was clearly deformation, looked like wrinkles, and only in the throat bridge.
