Its clear the guy can't do anything, why do they even play him then substitute him early in the second half? Its a waste of a substitution IMO, there are players who are fitter and fresher and can actually run and score.

Torres is injured and off-form, give him a break. It will be an unwise move if they play him against Germany

ive been wondering the same thing all tournament long. llorente is in much better form, poor torres has really had a hard time. It truly is a waste of substitution, and i agree, he shouldnt start next match

I reckon he won't start the next match.

Somehow the coach likes to play him because he used to be such a good striker.

He looked really slow today against Paraguay, Villa was a bit sluggish too but turned it on when it mattered. Torres couldn't do that.

It's a real shame he hasn't recovered. It's clear his mind still wants to do some amazing things and he has the vision, but he isn't getting there!

They shouldn't play him against Germany.

Good question. Pretty much everyone in Spain is asking the same question too.

I just can't get why he still in the start line. Makes no sense at all.

I've no idea why they play him, either.

What's worrying is that his agent has said there is a real possiblity he will leave Liverpool this summer, hopefully Man City can come in and offer him a huge wage.

Del bosque need to put Pedro on the starting line, and use Llorente for a substitution on the second half.
