Can anyone give me info on the hps 5.0. Does it have a crisp feel like the prostaff 6.0.

Hope you have good insurance coverage too! Racquet is soooo stiff you have a higher chance of elbow/shoulder problems with it.
thanks for the info,
bloaded, would you say the racquet has a crisp feel? and what kind of string do you use
i remember someone said it had a similar feel to the pog mid, is this true?
I used to play with this racquet, its a very stiff racquet, but it has a good weight. It had good control, but the first time I picked a Prestige Classic I decided to switch.
does this racquet feel slow as you swing it because of air resistance?
i saw some photos of it on **** and the frame looks so "fat" especially in the throat area

It swings ok.. i had it for awhile.. became a little too stiff for me as my feel improved.
They used to make a Pro Staff Clasic 4.2... that this was WAY stiff.

the racquet isn't THAT bad in terms of stiffness, imo.
I usually play Babolat Conquest, Tecnifibre X-1, or some kind of nice multi in the mains, and OG Micro in the crosses. Gives a nice crisp feel and reduces a lot of the "harshness."

Racquet plays great with nxt16. Nice weight. Monster serve. Solid volley. Just a beast on mishits. Feels imo like a babolat pure control in a 95."
phil10s,
what racquet did you switch to
i kind of rely on the feedback of a racquet also

It is the only racquet I ever hit with that gave me a sore arm/elbow and I play with a PD+, which many posters claim is way too stiff and causes elbow problems. There are a lot of better choices out there than the Hyper PS 5.0.

has anybody hit with both models, stretch and standard? Is there a huge difference between the two? I ask because I really enjoy the stretch, but they're tricky to get a hold of.
