Ok, I was playing tennis with my YT Prestige MP, and I played a shot, hit the ball so hard that my racquet flew out of my hand and hit the ground. After that, I noticed that my racquet was sounding a bit weird at the top, sort of like a hollow sound.....Is my racquet cracked or is it just me? I can't find any cracks on the paint or on top...

no pleasure in saying it. a downhill slide so far as that frame is concerned. I have even done it with wood rackets way back when I was 12 yrs. old. seeing a "CRACK" means nohing it's like cancer you can't see it and even asking this question you KNOW it.

LOL....
Yes it is a crack. Next time don't wait so long to put on a new overgrip... Time for a new racquet!!!!

How does this happen?

if your frame doesn't feel or hit as solid as it use to you may have broke it or it's cracked somewhere.

It isn't cracked. I'm surprised no one has been nice enough to honor your request.

Is the frame "warped" in any fashion?

Sweaty hands...happens more often than you think.

Tournagrip is dirt cheap. No reason not to have fresh overgrips on your rackets.
