When all else is the same - which mounting system do you feel is better? (in this case, the head and throat supports)

1. Hold-down (press-down)
2. Suspension

anyone know if one is better than the other?

I have been using EAG-700 to string my racquets. I had always been using flying clamps to start my main. I recently thinking about using a Starting clamp. However, with the hold-down mounting type I have, it seems impossible to do it with a starting clamp. Also, on the Hold-down mounting, does it matter where your post is like in front or behind the throat? Or above the racquet head frame of behind the head frame? Anyone care to educate me on this? Thanks.

Should the post on the left side(head) from below photo be on the inside of the frame? At least that's how I mount my racquet and the hold down clap is actually pointing outside which doesn't look natural since the curvature of the clamp does not match the curvature at the head.

I always worry that if I mount the frame as shown, my racquet may slip if tension is being pulled from the throat. That may not happened but just felt safer if I put the mounting post inside the head frame.
