Is the Babolat RPM Blast more arm friendly than the revenge for an intermediate player?

never used revenge, but to me it's more arm friendly than the pro hurricane tour. i string my RPM Blast 17 at 60lbs (trying 62 pretty soon just for kicks) and i haven't experienced any arm problems with it when the PHT used to kill my elbow and shoulder. it may come down to how much power you can generate on your own. at 6'4" 220lbs, i generate plenty of power so i don't need to take a huge cut at the ball every time. but if you can't generate easy power, this string might not be for you.

Agreed with more arm friendly than PHT. I hybrid PHT and Gosen and that still would hurt my arm. RPM gave me awesome no problems what so ever. If it werent for cost, I would probably switch to this exclusively.

i've never used anything but a full bed poly (except once when i ran out of PHT and decided to give Prince Synthetic Gut w/ Duraflex a try and i all but got tennis elbow). once i get my own stringing machine, i'll probably experiment with some hybrids, but for now i'm happy with what i've got. RPM is a little expensive, but i don't have to restring that often with them (about once every 3-4 weeks) so it evens out.

I recently bought a stringing machine and I have tried gazillion string mostly polys. I can tell you one thing for sure: it is mainly about tension not about string. I use full poly at 49lbs and I have zero problems. Full Hurricane at 49 is 100 times more comfy than X-one at 61 that I used to use...

i've been trying RPM 17g at 62lbs since sunday last week. not much difference in spin, but i'm a little more accurate on serves and when i take a bigger cut at the ball. coincidentally, my backhand is off. idk if that's due to the switch in tension or my technique (probably my technique). no arm issues at all, which is more than i can say for the PHT 17g at 62lbs. i'm going to keep this setup for a while to see how it goes. anyone else try RPM at this tension?

I have to say RPM is rough on the arm.
I strung it at 48 and got tennis elbow soon.
It does have good control.

what string do you usually play with? i've played with poly's since i started playing and RPM is the ONLY string that hasn't given me any arm problems.

ProHurricane Original 16 and 17: slight elbow
PHT 16 and 17: elbow and shoulder
Gamma Zo Twist 16: major elbow and minimal shoulder

and the one synthetic gut i tried (prince synthetic gut w/ duraflex 17) completely destroyed my elbow and shoulder and even tweaked my left shoulder.
