Yeah, so today I had my racquet restrung and I thought I'd mess around with some stencil ink. The girl behind the desk gives me the stencil ink and I cover my entire stringbed. Didn't think it would be so bad, but it was. In 2 hours, I wore out most of the ink in the middle of the racquet, but I still have little spots right next to the crosses and on the edges of the racquet. How do I remove these without damaging my strings? Thank you.

I know with poly just scraping it off with your fingernail works.

Might not work. I keep my fingernails very short, I can't scratch the ink off at all.

You can take a damp face cloth or towel and pinch the strings and rub really hard (no pun intended).

I probably wouldn't have even caught that if you hadn't said anything xD

Stencil ink can be desolved with Isopropyl Alchohol, but it can get messy. Use a rag that you will throw away because it will get stained. Don't use it on Natural Gut.

But if the ink has been dry for a while; rubbing alcohol will not get it out.
