I normall string my racquet, with NG, at 68 lbs. Luxilon suggests you string their string 10% lower than normally. That being said, if I go with Luxilon on the mains and NG on the crosses, then I would string the mains at 61 (68 less 10%), but would I string the crosses, with NG, at 68 or 61?

Well, this is a toughy, but natural gut is very, very soft compared to Luxilon, and though Lux may say to go 10% lower, in your case I would go even lower, like the stringing the Lux in the 55-58 lbs range and the NG in the 62-65 lbs range (there should be about a 7 lbs difference, AT MOST, between the mains and crosses).

I don't like to string Lux above 58 or so, and almost never at or above 60...i agree with johnny that a 55-58 tension is good for lux and i'd say low 60's for ng. since NG does soften the bed up quite a bit, it does allow you to be a bit tighter with the lux

Ditto really. Lux at 60 plus is quite dangerous on the arm. I use NG (mains) at 60 ALU at 54.
