Hi,
do you like the racquet, what's so special about it?

Next week i'll get my Flexpoint. But I'm thinking it will be a little bit too light. Where would you put the the lead on the racquet?
What's the best string for the racquet?

its a nice racquet with mor epower than the old liquidmetal but has more control! so i would recomend a very high tension string to have control and some lead tape on the sides of the frame to not lose the stability

got one last week, played with it a few times, will take some time to get used to it. I was using a lighter head lm fire.... the fire was very stiff compared to the flexpoint but it was more forgiving.... the flexpoint is weaker if you don't hit a centered shot... but you are rewarded greatly if you hit the sweetspot... power and lot of control... you can really fell the ball...

the flexpoint technology is great. it is designed to cup the ball it offers the player even more control and feel. it kind of bends your racquet into the cup absorbing the ball.

I don't think any lead weight needs to be put on it. It is the best of the Head racquets I've tried so far. the flexpoint string is pretty good too, better than most.

joe12- CHILL OUT !!!! Alot of people use this stick(as well as myself)and if they believe the holes work so be it. I myself dont believe they work but it is still a nice swinging stick. As far as the original post goes wait till you get the stick and play with it and decide if you even need to add weight. I added a half ounce to the handle and six inches at 3&9, if that helps any.

Joe12,

Here is my opinion.

One of my best friends whom is a Tennis Instructor uses the Head Flexpoint Radical. He decided upon that Frame not because it is 'said' to be 'used' by Andre Agassi. Nor did he opt to purchase the Frame because he read about the 'Marketing' of Flexpoint. Rather, after demoing several different Racquets he decided that this was the Stick for him. He said that he was not concerned with the technology itself, but simply how the Racquet felt and worked for him.

So whereas some might say it is used by Andre, to each their own. And people such as yourself have the right to state that the technology does not work. But just because it might not work for you does not mean it is not the Frame of choice for others.

That is one of the great things about Tennis Racquets, as well as life. There are many choices out there, and what might work for one person may or may not work for another.

Regards,
John

does it work or not, does it really cups the ball more...???

I don't know if it cups the ball more then another racquet, but I know that I like the FP Tour a lot.

i'm just saying that the holes don't make it cup the ball.

I use the flexpoint radical tour.

I demoed a bunch of racquets (rdx 500, lm prestige, lm instinct, o3 tour etc) before figuring the best racquet for me was what I was currently using but wasn't being sold anymore - i.prestige. Out of the racquets that I demoed I really liked the o3 tour but I didn't like the price.

fp tour offered a very similar balance to the i.prestige while providing a more stable frame, more power, control and spin potential.

Regarding the fp holes - I don't find the racquet to noticeably flex there. I think it is a gimick on Head's part. Fp tour is still an incredible racquet that has definitely raised the level of my game.
