I stumbled upon this shoe in a local store today. Looks like Vapor 7, but different somehow. I think it's not the vapor club. Anyone?

Yep, the Nike Lunar Kayoss, like everyone said. And despite being a cross-trainer, I wouldn't recommend playing tennis in them mainly cuz of the outsole... I don't think it'll be durable enough to handle being pounded around a hardcourt. Plus its a pretty soft/flexible outsole... Nike markets it as more of a turf training shoe...
