I stringed a racket today in a Pacific drop weight, and I really like it. I have strung until now +/- 10 rackets, and I would like to choose a not heavy machine with two fixed clamps, preferencely a tabletop or a portable
What about a Pro's pro challenger 1, Alpha Pioneer Dc, or an Alpha Revo 4000?
I don't want electronics machines, I'm going to the drop weights and spring anda I'm more decided to buy the Revo 4000
Leave your opinion (;

I'm with Ash, Stringway ML100. Not just for beginners, this machine will do you for a long time. Portable also.

Do your homework and identify what you want in the clamps, tension head, and mounting system. Then try to do a cost analyisis on the stringers that fit what you want. Check the forum (and others) for what others think of the stringer and make your choice.
What I would not do is take someone else's opinion of what they like and assume they are just like you. You may want a drop weight and others might like a lockout because it is faster. You may only want to use fixed clamps while others are happy with flying clamps. You need to identify what you want not what you want to pay.

I'm a newbie in this and I was trying to understand what is better for me, but for sure I have some preferences. I have already search many opinions. I don't understand very much of the tension head and mounting system, so I live that to the users
So, if you don't want to leave your opinion and help me don't do this kind of commentes ..
