Saw this pic on the monte carlo website, and I swear it's not the right racquet or something: http://montecarlo.masters-series.com/1005/players/gallery/

First off, 4 mains at the bottom, which head classic would that be? Second off, groves from throat to head. Do they have those on any prestiges? Not on the i or the LM, but what bout the old classics?

PCMD, I've heard some people say about grooves on the racquet, but what does it mean?

PCMD, what do you mean by "4 mains at the bottom"? Can you clarify? also "grooves in the head"?

by grooves, i thought PCMD was referring to the grooves in the throat of the racquet, which are indents at the "Y" part of the throat of the frame. If you look at the old prestige classics, there are no grooves in the throat, i.e. it's just a flat beam.

it really does look like guga's using a lm prestige, prolly a custom frame like agassi. w/ grooves in the throat, 18x20 pattern (i think), and frame beam width looks wider and rounder, maybe like the actual LM prestige twin tube stuff?

Guga has used the old PT630(brother of more popular, but also dc'd PT 280).The PT630 had CAP grommets and Head's traditional 18X20 pattern and a 97 si head.Nice weight, slightly thicker beam than LM Prestige becuase it's not part of the Prestige line. Most likely that, prolly never switched meaning all those TiRadical,IPrestige pics are paintjobs. All Head's players frames with 18X20 pattern have the center 8 mains in the throat(maybe not the TiFire Tour, but probably)

Guga's frame has the bumps that the new frame sports doesn't it?

Whatever racket it is didn't help him much yesterday! :D

I do however think that it is probably a custom made LM Prestige based on that particular picture.

I think it is definately the PT 280 because of the grooves. kreative, thank you for the definitions of the grooves. Guga was supposed to use the Instinct, but I think he hated it.

Does anyone knows the weight and balance of Guga racket?

Sorry for the coinfusion, I meant the groves where the throat meets the head, the "Y" I guess you could say. So the PT630 & PT280 do have those? But which one is it? I meant also that it has 4 throat grommets, so 8 mains are in the throat, not the usual 6. After I noticed it though, it's like that on like al prestiges.
