I'm currently browsing for a new stick to replace my prince db control 800 mp. I use an extreme western forehand grip, a one handed backhand and play a well rounded all court game. Any tips?

Demo a Prince O3 Tour MP and a Head LM Prestige MP.

Do you have any company preferences? If you want to stay with Prince, I found the Diablo MP to be quite proficient at generating spin; it just needs a bit of lead in at 10 and 2, I think.

Yeah, I have enjoyed playing with Prince's racquets and I was definitely considering the Diablo and O3 Tour. Any comment on the Aero Pro that Nadal uses? Heard some good things recently

kind of stiff for my liking... the aeropro. good racquet, tweener... very powerful for someone who previously uses a db control imo.

diablo is great, along with NXG graphite... thats an EXCELLENT racquet, cheaper now too. u have to demo it, its great! looks sweet too.

Try the O3 Tour. From a certain psychological perspective, it could be good since Prince has actually convinced a number of their touring pros to switch to it. It's kind of hard to paint holes, don't you think? ;)

If you want to go hardcore, there's always the POG.

any thoughts on the Diablo?

I tried the Aeropro Drive, but found it had too much power against a big hitter. Blocked shots flew long. Maybe some dead strings at high tension would have helped, but that would make it less arm-friendly. The Diablo hits well and has much more feel and control. A very comfortable racquet. I loved the Diablo MP. Awesome for volleys. I just need more reach on my backhand and serve, so I went with the POG LB, which is very similar, but 3/4 inch longer.

When you guys are making these recommendations, i hope u're taking into account my first message about my forehand, backhand, playstyle etc. Based on that, which racket/s would u recommend, final verdict?

Perhaps you could let us know what it is you're looking for, in particular, with a new racquet. Is there something you didn't like about the Db or something you really liked and wanted to duplicate?

Try the Prince Original Graphite Classic MID.

Yeah, that's why I did pick the Diablo MP for you; it's suitable for a western forehand, but maybe seeing as how you have a one-handed backhand you should go with the Mid. The POG Mid is obviously another good choice, basically the Diablo with less strings and a more raw feel - excellent for spin, but I heard it is horrible at net.
