Blue gear in all categories. Comes in 1.19mm, 1.23, 1.28mm.

RPM Blast by a fair stretch. Didn't like Blue Gear at all, and I was skeptical about the RPM until I tried it. Nice feeling poly but nothing compared to M2 Pro or ALU Power.

In those three categories, RPM doesn't even come close.

blue Gear. but when it comes to feel...bg is a fail.

A full job of bg is debatable, vs bg/vs team 17g. rpm is a dull thud vs a stiff upper cut that bg supplies.

why is blue gear better then rpm blast or vice versa?

More spin, more durable, better tens. loss, stiffer, better long lasting control.

They are both terrible at maintaining tension, and the texture wears off after a few hours. At least the Blue Gear isn't obscenely overpriced.

To combat the tens. loss, string the crosses higher than the mains. Today I did an experiment: pt57a with bg mains at 45lbs: 1.23mm, bg crosses 1.19mm: first three down from the top of hoop: 65lbs, 4-9: 48lbs, and rest of crosses: 65lbs. Feel was great, power good, so was spin and control not bad.

If you are looking for spin potential and you want something available at tenniswarehouse check out Kirschbaum spiky shark. It's texture is more defined than blue gear.
