I measured my hands and I am a 5 1/8. I have to use 4 5/8, put a replacement and then an overgrip. Two years ago I used a 4 3/8.

**edit**

4 1/8 should be 4 1/4. it is a typo.

It's genetic. Most guys in my family have large hands.

**edit**

I am now 16. I was 4 3/8 when I was 12.

I use a 4 5/8 but when using the "index finger in the gap" method it's still too small by about 1/4". But this seems to give me more ability to create snap when I serve, and it hasn't caused elbow or wrist problems so I'm satisfied with it.

I would really like to see the racket manufactures start producing 3/4 grips again since there many larger players who really would like to have these grips. I do enjoy playing 3/4 grips when I can find them but can settle with an overgrip on a 5/8

You forgot to include 4 1/4 grip size in your poll. It's a very common grip size among juniors and petite ladies.

im just about 5 1/8 in all reality, and still use 4 5/8 and no build ups other than sometimes using a single overgrip. a few years back i used to build em up, but i cant stand not being able to feel the bevels and the lessened feedback of building up.
