Ok, the winter has come and i need a reel of synthetic gut for training as poly plays like a board at low temperatures.

Here's a few i'm interested in..

Wilson Extreme Synthetic Gut
Dunlop Synthetic S-Gut
Forten Sweet
Prince Original Synthetic Gut
Gamma Synthetic Gut Wearguard
Babolat Synthetic Gut

I've tried Gosen Sheep Micro and i don't hate it but i don't like it, it's just ok for the price... I'm looking for something better.

Each to their own, but playing with a string that's completely different to what you would use in competition isn't ideal. Different response off the stringbed, doesn't provide the same margins for certain type so shots compared to poly etc.

If you don't like Gosen, then your reasons sounds more like personal preferences rather than strictly performance based because none of those other strings are likely to be better peforming. Just try a few out.

Try the Gamma synthetic gut without the Wearguard. I think it has better feel and is surprisingly much more durable.

From those you list, I'd pick out POSG and Wilson's Extreme Synthetic Gut. Then, I'd do Babolat's new N.vy too.

Wilson Extreme Synthetic Gut good in feel department compared with other synguts or is just about the same?

Which one has the best tension maintaince?

Out of that list, I've only used the Wilson and POSG. I think the Prince is more crisp, and the Wilson has more feel. Better tension maintenance? Probably POSG.

Have you ever thought about staying with your current setup but dropping the tension for more comfort? Please see my sig below.

Babolats synthetic gut is very easy to break if you like to hit hard.

When you go here, you can create a report for both strings that corresponds with your swing speed and preferred tension: http://twu.tennis-warehouse.com/learning_center/reporter.php. I can tell you they are pretty close, with the Extreme being more flexible and the POSG having a (very) slight edge for tension maintenance.

In addition, Extreme, IMO, offers a bit better control due to its coating/lack of one. The comfort standard synthetic string is still the N.vy I mention above too.

I like Forten Sweet 16. Not the most durable, however at $45 a reel I'd make due with it as a substitute for a few weeks.
