I use MSV Focus HEX. It gives me nice ball bites when it is new. But after 5 hours or so of hitting, it feels dead even though the tension does not seem to lose. I usually end up cutting it. Someone told me the same. Does any of you who uses MSV Focus HEX have the same experience?

i use the 1.10mm and it stretches out in 5-10 minutes for me...but i find it to feel much better after it does stretch out.

Vokl Cyclone is like MSV Hex and is even better and a lower price. By better i mean tension maitnence, durability, ect.

Five hours is in line with my personal experience as a full bed -- I typically restring it at the 6-8 hour mark, assuming it hasn't broken (which is does more than half the time). But i am using the 1.10.

It is a decent poly string considering it is pretty cheap. With a reel and my own stringer, it isn't that big of a deal. If I was paying someone to string my racquet, I would go with another option.

i had to restring at the 7 hour mark as the tension dropped more than 7lbs and was still falling.

Something seems wrong with MSV. I had 2 sticks strung up nearly 6 months and one is nearly 1 1/2 yrs ago and they have held up nicely but recently I found out that the latest batch can't hold tension at all.

The latest reviews of MSV seems to be the case too as the earlier reviews mention the great tension hold of msv but the latest all seem to say significant tension loss.

Have they changed the formula cus it used to feel wiry, lively and stiff while the latest seems mushy, soft and with little feel. I would suggest serious pre-stretching for the latest strings.

Yes, I bought 1 set of msv focus hex and used it in the mains with og sheep in the crosses. Found it very mushy after a set. Not buying the strings again, even though many people here like it. I feel like sometimes, people have no idea what they're talking about, and hype a string just because other people rave about it.

The hype about msv was when it was stiff and wiry and could hold tension really well. Whatever they did it isn't working now.

To me, I never noticed the string dying but rather the lack of power throughout its play. So with that said, I'd assume it didn't die as quickly.

It appears that I am not the only one. What is the reason for the string becomes dead?
Some says because the tension is lost.
Some says because the string surface got smooth and the HEX shape becomes round shape and no longer can grasp the ball as well as new. I think the later is the reason.

Well, I did not find it very good even for the first five hours.

That is the wrap on MSV Focus HEX. Good string. Good price. Does not hold it's tension.
