WOW,,,this is great thing you are doing. Is this every court or just center court ? and isn't there a live court cam link in the aussie open site itself ?

There is a LIve video sign up on the aussie open website. It is under video and then live. It is Not available is US but it is same video cam. It maybe available for you in your country.

Afraid not, not even everyone in the US gets it depending on your ISP.

Yeah, ah well looks like I'll have to stick to the live streaming for a couple days, here in Canada most of the coverage begins tomorrow and its not always live during the first week.

EDIT: Well it looks like us Canadians get live HD tennis just like the US!

Shame it isn't an ESPN stream though. :(

The ESPN3 coverage is the greatest thing ever. Just watched the end of first set of the Monfils-De Bakker match.

Not only can I pick matches, but I can avoid lengthy non-tennis segments and commercials. Fantastic.

Well you guys get Wimbledon and RG live while we get it on tape delay every year thanks to NBC, so it evens out.

What's the restriction on access? Do you have to be a U.S. cable subscriber? I have ESPN3, but I assume it's because I'm paying hand over fist for Comcast cable and internet.

Yeah from what I understand ESPN3 is restricted to only Verizon and Comcast subscribers, as well as college providers and military bases.

Certain cable companies have agreements with ESPN... Comcast, Cox, etc. So, if you have an IP address from one of those companies you get it free.

Since Roddick is schedule to play next after Monfil's match, ESPN2 may cover his match(b/c he's an American:mad:) instead of Federer's match. Good thing we have ESPN3. :)

Is anyone having some issues with the video quality? Maybe its because i only have dsl, but i always have 3 bars on the quality for espn3, and the small video size is too blocky from having too high a definition, but full screen is too blurry bcause it ain't 4 or 5 bars quality.

I seriously wish they had a medium sized player.

What cpu do you have? Multi HD-streams are very cpu-power hungry...

I am on Bright House Turbo (15Mbps) and it is going pretty good (3-4 signal strength in full screen mode, 4 matches)

Unfortunately this does not work if you subscribe to Time Warner which 99.9999% of NYC'ers do. I think ESPN3 is open to comcast and maybe some other providers. But yes, you can pick your court that you wish to watch which is a good thing. A much better option than seeing Venus crushing someone when there's a 5th setter happening on a smaller court, just because she's an American and they need to air americans.

http://espn.go.com/espn3/faq#4I don't have Verizon or Comcast and I get it. The list of providers is quite long, though not sure if every customer in every region/city with a certain provider gets access.

actually, it does work for time warner, just not for cablevision. is time warner really that big in nyc? i always though cablevision/io had a good grasp on the nyc metro market.

I have Time Warner (California) and I have access to it, but first I have to go to Time Warner's website and set up an account, then use that account to access ESPN3. Haven't done it yet, been too lazy.

Time Warner made a very big deal after its most recent negotiations with ESPN/ABC/Disney that they were adding ESPN3 access to their cable internet customers.

As someone else noted, more companies have agreements. I have AT&T, which works with ESPN3.

Friendly tip: For households with multiple tennis fans, unless you have a fast enough internet service, two or more people using ESPN3 at once will cause significantly lowered stream quality. This may seem obvious, but some will overlook it.
