Congratulations to Love Game who has 22.93 posts per day and Bud came in at number 2 with 18.62 posts per day. That's just unbelievable that you can keep up that stamina over such a long period of time.

I've been on the boards for three years and just made "professional" status and have >1 post per day. I guess people get on everyday and post just having the intention of getting a Hall of Fame or GOAT status???

I've always been of the opinion, on all the forums I've frequented over the years, anything over 10 a day is too much to achieve through normal means. It can only be achieved by spamming/lazy comments/'post count+1' posts, etc.

But that's just my own experience of things. ;)

Wyutani and zhan managed to average 30 posts a period of almost a year.

Another poster managed to average 106 posts a day for 5 or 6 days before getting banned. Can't remember his username. He was full of epic and awesomeness.

I bet most of their posts are on Pro Match Results, where they comment on any match and post things such as: "Great point", "40-15 X player", etc. Its pretty easy to get a high post count that way.

A lot of them are complimenting each other

"Good post"
"Good find"
"lol 10 chars."

fedfan_2009? I remember his averages hitting the high 120s and I'm almost positive his stay here lasted longer than a week, he was here for some months.

Is Meg gone? I tried to look up her post count but the only Meg currently registered on TT is a new user. And no more fedfan_2009. (but there are about a dozen that start with fedfan!)

It's pretty interesting to look at the post counts. click on member list then click on post count to sort. Lots of VERY familiar names at the top and some not so much.

I remember looking his name up a while ago, maybe three or four months ago.

His post avg was still higher than mine...

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) posts in the O&E section don't go towards your post count. But good try. :)

I see BP is now a 'Bionic Poster' I didn't even know that existed.

Djokovicvsgonzalez was on a pretty record clip before he cut back his posting. At one point I think he was consistently at 50 posts/day at least.

your post count is currently 5.39/day. Was it much higher when you first started?

I realize if someone lays low for awhile the count/day goes down quickly.

JB#1... So it makes it even more obvious if someone has a high post count/day, they are probably avoiding the O&E section since they don't count. I know I post over there frequently.

Absolutely. When I was young and naiive, I was really excited about posting. My peak I believe was maybe 20-25 posts a day though. But a few months in, I realised how many fanboys there were so I stopped for awhile and my count plummeted.

I don't go on nearly as much as I used to. Usually staying away from general pro section but a tip for anyone sick of the slug fests and name calling in general pro, I find rackets, strings and tips to be more "peaceful"

And of course, Odds and Ends. :)

more that 7,000 more posts by #1 BreakPoint than #2 Bud, but bud has more than 6 posts/day more that BP!

The numbers stay pretty close until another gap of 5,000 posts between 6 and 7.

You can't compare eras - the so-called #1 BreakPoint accumulated his posts because of no competition, while Bud had to compete against the new generation of great prolific posters.

Maybe it's just me (but others have already chimed in) but the "prolific posters" seem to post just so they can accumulate a high post count and achieve legend, HOF or GOAT status. You on the other hand, are old school and been around here awhile.

negative ghost rider! no posts in the odds and ends section count toward post count. I have posted here 11 times tonight and in 2 other O&E threads but not adding to my post count.

Your posting in the wrong threads to get your post count up! Sadly the threads that are the most interesting to participate in are in the Odds and Ends section. If you have ever been posting in a match thread during the match, it gets funny with some of the posts. Some people just post the score each time it changes.

I post like I play, for enjoyment, not results. I'd much rather lose and have fun, then win and not enjoy it. The O&E might not 'count', but its fun.

Although I think "The Six-Million Dollar Man" would have had a nicer ring to it. :) (OK, OK, those under 30 probably have no idea what I'm talking about.)

No one beats Breakpoint. No one.

only reason BP is "winning" is because his greatest rivals were banned. phil and deuce.

i lost thousand of posts with the changes, should be on 4k+..

got bit upset and tried upping my avg again with 50+ legit commented reanimated posts, sowing confusion and chaos among the tt denizens for half day, before taking month holidays.

i laugh and cry everytime i check an older thread, half the posters have been exiled.
