Not worried, Androids will eventually gain sentience and eat all the Apples.

maybe this is the reason Nokia is planning to go with Microsoft Mobile Windows?

What I've heard about the iPod Nano is that it will be an inexpensive phone that can be use with pay-as-you-go plans. Apple is going after the 80% still not using smartphones.

maybe this is the reason Nokia is planning to go with Microsoft Mobile Windows?

Nokia's trying to team up with WP7 so they can get back into the market that they once dominated. They used to be the smartphone gods, untouchable in their wake. But once Apple and Google started rolling out touchscreen-based devices, Symbian just couldn't keep up. WP7 is a solid OS and with time it can face off against Android and iOS, but it doesn't have the brand to compete with the others (most people don't think of Microsoft when you say "innovative, hip companies.")

What I've heard about the iPod Nano is that it will be an inexpensive phone that can be use with pay-as-you-go plans. Apple is going after the 80% still not using smartphones.

After an incredible streak of new products, an iPhone Nano would add about 7-12% revenue growth; something that Apple will need with all of the Android competition. Apple gets about 39% of its revenue from the iPhone and it needs to grow in the face of competition.

This happens and I'll be happy. Never liked these remote control phones and want to get back to smaller phones. Where's the v60i when you need it?

Lost down the back of the armchair in 2004, that's where...

I could see the iPhone Nano replacing my iPod Nano.

Right now I keep my iPod Nano in my Sennheiser pouch. It would be nice to only have one device. I did use an iPod Touch for a while but it's a bit huge and heavy for running.
