View Full Version : stringing k-blade 98

I'm using a hybrid string pattern, same as Federer. If I cut the gut set in half(which I'm using on the mains) then I come up short, I have to measure 21.5'. Which means i come up short of string on the next racket. Is there something I'm missing, per instructions the stringing pattern is skip 8h and 10h.
I would appreciate any advice Thanks.

According to USRSA, K-Blade 98 uses 21 feet in the mains and 19 feet in the crosses...these are usually generous measurements to take account for different stringing machines. I used to use the K-Blade 98 and usually cut a 40' string in half and end up just about right. Sometimes string manufacturers are short on the sets..try measuring it.
You Could...just use full gut!
