excluding Nat Gut and removing string breakage as an issue. Order of the following (lasting defined as still offering good playing characteristics)
1.) all poly
2.) poly main, syn gut or multi crosses
3.) all syn gut
4.) all mulit

Sorry, this was a question looking for rankings..

I would say the full multi would be best followed by full syn gut. This is assuming that you don't break the strings of course. I'm not much a string breaker and when I use a multi, I'll leave it in until it breaks.

Really depends on what strings you use and what tension you string them at. Some polys out there strung low will last just as long as the multis out there now. It all depends on the feel you are looking for in a stringbed and your playing type/strokes.

IMO for most players 4.0 and above, I believe a poly hybrid lasts the longest.
Poly itself is usually a more durable string. However, full poly notches faster because the two stiff strings at contact will eat into the mains faster.
A Poly and Multi/Syn Gut hybrid lasts longer because the poly mains won't notch as fast if you use a softer string in the cross. I believe this is the opinion of the TW String Professor as well.
