I want to try the low tension poly experiment on one of my sticks (KPS88 or K90).

I'm thinking Luxilon Big Banger Ace 18g mains @ 38 lbs, and Gamma Professional 18g crosses @ 48 lbs.

I can get Gamma Pro for $10/set (contact on the bay). RSI gave Big Ace stiffness rating of 232 (about avg for poly), and Gamma Pro 18g 144...very low, almost as soft as natural gut.

My questions are:

1) how much tighter can I string the crosses without risking damage/warping of the racquet? 10 lbs? 12 lbs?

2) how would a stringbed with crosses this much tighter play like?

Thanks!
