Love how they forget Segura was also "Pancho"

and a few things they forgot:

Hoad and Rosewall were known as the "Whiz kids"
Laver was "The Rocket"
Jean Borotra "The Bounding Basque"

btw is it true Budge was once called "the fire dragon"?

Another good one I just noticed.

"Uncle Toni" = Antoni Nadal Spain (coach)

I guess technically, the entire tennis world has adopted this 'nick name'
Even though "Uncle Toni" is just what Rafa, or his sister would call him out of respect.

Thinking about it now, it is funny that everyone adopted the Uncle Toni moniker. It's kind of ridiculous.

Haha the others are crazy, but I've heard P-Mac refer to Roddick as A-Rod, but anyone who follows sports knows that the real A-Rod is on the soon to be 28 time Champion New York Yankees. :p

I actually do say Stan the Man!! C'mon! hahaha

Ms. Hingis has always been refered to as the Swiss Miss, even in her prime.

LOL at these two. They made me laugh.

Also, A-Rod for Roddick, Stan The Man for Wawrinka and Muhammed Ali for Tsonga are commonly used. I heard those many times.

Ridiculous. They should have asked TW first. We call him Tio Toni. Plenty we could give for Đoković too.

Brooklyn-I, too, think of Alex Rodriguez when I hear "A-Rod". I've never heard Fed referred to as "Mr. Swiss Miss" or Agassi as "the Punisher". I've heard "Dr. Ivo" for Ivo Karlovic and "Momo" for Amelie Mauresmo.
