Both have had hiccups so I wouldn't say either of them have been impressive

compared to each other Nadal has been playing better, but not by alot
compared to their usual clay court game Nadal looks a bit meh, Fed looks pretty good

both, but let's see the final

both where very good.

Nice FH winners and little BH shanks by Fed. nadal was good but didn't seem to have that much focus. some easy errors and also a lighter schedule than fed(at least first round, second maybe gasquet was a little harder than cillic).

we'll see how it turns out.

Agreed.. I suppose it's a bit early to tell. Glad to see fed winning comfortably though.. why people doubt him all the time I'll never know.

Holmes: Ralph, without doubt.

Roger has not done anything that has hinted at his old form in terms of attacking, nor been tested to show his consistency under pressure.

Ralph has shown that all the usual shots are there (with consistency) and with a better serve than last year on clay me thinks.

I would say Djokovic!

Federer's 2 opponents were quite out of sorts, so can't say. The commie was saying "Gasket is in the form of his life" -- then talked of his being fitter than before.

Lets pause this thread until after the semis.

If Nadal pull Murray and Fed pull Ferrer for their semi matches and they both win that will give a better indication of their current form.

Spot on Holmes. And his current level of play verses Melzer proves this. He isn't playing well, and you cannot blame the conditions as they exist for both players.

Still going with Federer!

Melzer is GOATing in Monte Carlo and watch him win the tournament now!

Today you've got your answer, but it starts with M:-)

Fed shouldn't be in the same sentence with Nadal when it comes to clay.

He wasn't there even in his prime years.

Sorry Bill, I have to disagree. If not for Nadal, Roger would have decimated everybody on clay from 2005-2009. He owned everybody then except for that Guy
