If you mean 2 meters above the ground, I'd say not quite moonballing.

If you mean 2 meters above the net (10 feet above the ground), I'd agree - borderline.

If you don't want to be labeled a moonballer, throw some variety into your game.
If you're playing me, a couple unforced errors would be appreciated as well.

If it screws up your opponents timing, and gives you a chance to win the match - then who cares...You don't get style points, but people won't want to practice or play you, if all you do is loop every shot.

No, definitely not.

If the 2 meters refers to height of bounce of ball, you can and will in the future be able to hit topsin with bigger kick.

If the 2 meters refers to net clearance of your shots, that's a high topsin. 2 Meters is just a little over 6 feet and a good topsin clears the net betten 3-8 feet. Very effective shots, Nadal hits them so did Borg. Just hit them harder so that they will travel faster and dip quicker at the very end, lands on the baseline and kick up way over the heads of your opponent, aim from corner to corner and you'll be on the tour.

Yeah, I agree with GG - similiar to a offensive lob.

If you are complaining about moonball why not take a moonball out of the air with a attacking forehand? :)

Codes? What codes?

Whether you're drilling balls like Lendl or looping them like Tracy Austin, I don't think there's a code governing it either way. Do what works for you.

I moonball like a champ once in a while. Don't feel the slightest bit of shame for it, either. If the other shmuck can't return a looper, he can expect a steady diet of them for the next two hours, as far as I'm concerned.

Call me a junkballer, a moonballer, a pusher, or just plain lucky. I could give a rat's ###. Just be sure to wish me luck in the next round when we shake hands after the match.

Yeah, Grimjack is right, you can hit the ball as high as you want. Of course inside, the ceiling/roof of the facility creates the limit. Outside, even the slightest wind can really effect the flight of a ball so be carefull and don't get too cute.
