Andre Agassi vs. JC Ferrero, 2003. Agassi is world #1 at 33 years old. I just want to put it into perspective for both sides what someone who is old (Federer) and consistently injured (Nadal) can achieve. Note the point at 3:48. If Fed is playing this level of tennis (obviously relevant to the time period) in 2014, even the most diehard Nadal fans will have to be in . If Nadal can do still move like this at 33, then no words are necessary.

Agassi said he was on drugs. I don't think he's a good example.

That was about 10 years before this.

You should have put the 2005 final vs Fed too.

speed of the video has been increased so it looks like they hit harder than that actually are.

lol no. Its just that back then the entire ATP wasnít yet fully taken over by a bunch of steroided up clay courters that canít hit a ball past the service line because of all the spin they put on it.

lol. More of your ignorance on display.

People make it seem like Agassi was doing lines at the changeovers and was injecting himself with EPO right before his matches since they heard about his crystal meth confession.

He also stopped instead of letting his bad choices turn him into a premature sports obituary. There are worse examples to choose from.

The only "clay courter" I see in the top 10 are Ferrer and Nadal, and even they have had great results on hardcourts. Are you saying guys like Federer, Soderling, Berdych don't hit past the service line

Its just the style of play from both which makes it look a lot more intense than say vs Nadal or Federer. Federer and Nadal use angles and different paces to win points, whilst Agassi and JC Ferrero play the same the entire match.

Agassi briefly used crystal meth during which time it was of such benefit to him his ranking rose to, umm, 164...

That video isn't sped up, that is how the top of the ATP looked before the slower balls and slower courts of the modern era.

people make such a fuss of Fed and Nadal (with reason, great players) but tend to forget they aren't the first brilliant athletes to play the game. There are even some who think Federer somehow 'invented the tweener'
