Who managed to win a GS after having started a family? We hear about Clijsters, Court, etc - what about the guys?

Well they don't have to give birth so it really doesn't matter.

Hewitt's babies (2005) came after his last slam win (2002).

There are many. However what is interesting is that there is only one man (Connors) who has won multiple majors after being a father. Not very likely that Fed will tie or break that record :)

Jimmy Connors Wimbledon (1982), U.S. Open (1982, 1983)
Pat Cash Wimbledon (1987)
Andres Gomez French Open (1990)
Boris Becker Australian Open 1996
Petr Korda Australian Open 1998
Yevgeny Kafelnikov Australian Open 1999
Albert Costa French Open 2002
Andre Agassi Australian Open 2003
Roger Federer Australian Open 2010

Federer and Albert Costa happen to share the unique record of winning a major while having more than one child. Incidentally both of them won a major as fathers of twin daughters.

LOL, haha.

Hewitt didn’t even met his future wife in 2002. In fact, he wasn't even married.

Connors was probably not a very involved father; Fed seems like he is.

Lleyton Hewitt actually met Bec for the first time in late 1999, 5 years before their relationship started. Hewitt was with Kim Clijsters from January 2000 until October 2004, so Lleyton was with Kim when he won his 2 slams.

Brett Connors was at many of his dad's tennis matches.

You know too much about Hewitt's relationships.

Really? All I know was when he broke up with Kim after the engagement, he met Bec and start dating, and then propose to her at one of the tournamenthe lost(forgot which one).

He then had a baby in late 2005 and uses as an excuse to not to show up at the Master Cup.

Lleyton and Bec first met at a charity tennis tournament in late 1999. Kim broke it off with Lleyton by telephone in October 2004. Lleyton and Bec started dating that December and he proposed after losing the 2005 Australian Open final to Safin. They got married in July 2005.

He then had a baby in late 2005 and uses as an excuse to not to show up at the Master Cup.

Hewitt started having injury troubles at that time. He definitely lost quite a bit of pace in 2006 and has rarely played his very best tennis since.

Brett Connors was at many of his dad's tennis matches.

That may be, but that does not automatically mean he was an involved father. Also, he has made comments in the media saying how his relationship with his daughter was not so close. Not sure if that has changed now.
